The main steps of CNC machining program are:
- Analyze the work drawings and assembly drawings of the parts.
Understand the purpose, performance and working conditions of the product, and make clear the position, function and technical requirements of the parts in the product, which is the basis of CNC machining.
- Process review
Technology review related to the product processing precision and quality, after the need to size, view, and the technical drawings and the integrity of the review, analysis of the technical requirements is scientific, reasonable and appropriate.
- Determine the type and manufacturing method of the blank.
Determining the basis of the blank is mainly the function of the parts in the product, the structural features and dimensions of the parts themselves, the process characteristics of the parts materials and the production batch of the parts. There are castings, forgings, welds, stamping parts, profiles and so on.
- Formulate the CNC machining process route.
Mainly include: select the positioning datum, determine the processing method, arrange the processing sequence and arrange heat treatment, inspection and other procedures and so on.
